People going through disaster

Surviving a life trauma is challenging. Elizabeth and Jolie have seen this first hand while helping thousands of disaster survivors. This experience has enabled the creation of Hummingly’s relevant, simple-to-use, pocket-sized recovery guide - designedto help you and your loved ones through the trauma of disaster and give you the tools to rebuild your lives.

Hummingly’s tools are now helping thousands of people and organisations around the world; for example Ravensdown and the Victorian Government.

Our Journey

Hummingly is the creation of Elizabeth McNaughton and Jolie Wills, a duo who have worked in disaster recovery around the world for over fifteen years.

They also led the recovery team during the Christchurch Earthquakes where they helped over 5,000 people. Among them were some of their own friends and family, making this experience deeply personal.

With the realisation that helping one person, one community, one disaster at a time is not enough, they have set about making their tools more accessible and today help thousands of people and organisations both in New Zealand and around the world.
